Image Transfer and Processing Systems
Ultra installs image transfer systems which are used not only for traffic control but also security purposes by using high technology. The obtained images are transferred both via cable or cableless. These images, whether analogue or digital, are processed and transferred by using the highest technology.
ASL Remote Watch The most significant feature of this systems installed by ULTRA is that the images of the 4 cameras connected to the equipment can be viewed on-line real time from any spot and that the images can be recorded digitally as time-lapse. Therefore, any event occurring can be inspected real time even if the user is in another city or country. The digital images regarded do not require video tapes and therefore no additional expense is required.
AUTOSCOPE – Traffic count evaluation through cameras. This system which has two main application is peculiar in that the images obtained from the cameras are processed via Image Processing technology and changed into numeric data. In this way, vehicles can be counted, classified, queue status can be determined and traffic lights can be controlled through such information. Any event on the highway can be detected through Incident Detection Software – Such event, like accident, congestion and wrong-parking are noted immediately. This information is transferred to the station and drivers are informed via pre-warning systems.
RED SPEED By using red speed system, vehicles violating red-light and/or exceeding speed limit are detected by digital cameras. Location, date, time, vehicle speed and the second of red light during when violation occurred are detected. The photographs are obtained as 3 shots and as they are protected by password, no change like license plate no can be done on the photographs. This information in the system is transferred to the center through telephone lines. If required, license plate number can be detected as numbers via Image Processing software.
WIRELESS VIDEO When video images are digital coded, this information can be transmitted via cable or cableless to any spot desired by using MODEM or any other communication system. However, as analog video image contains more information, its cableless transmission is enabled by systems which require high technology. Ultra is in continuous contact with the manufacturers who install such systems in the world and is carrying out studies to install similar systems in Turkey.
