DATA COLLECTION AND HIGHWAY SYSTEMS
Ultra installs highly advanced systems which collect data about the inner-city roads and highways-These systems collect data about the traffic density and road conditions and transmit the gathered data to the central controlling stations. These systems are tested by international authorities and have proven to be reliable through widespread use. Ultra systems are supported by foreign manufacturers with which Ultra is working in collaboration. Foreign software and hardware are adapted to Turkish standards and integrated with local and other foreign equipment.
Road Traffic and Weather Information Network (RTWIN): These systems collect any data like number classification, speed detection, distance between vehicles on each lane. In addition, data about road surface condition and surrounding meteorological condition are transmitted to the system. Such data consists of road surface temperature, wetness or dryness, freezing condition, rain, humidity, environment temperature, wind direction and speed, visibility and fog. Portable or fixed electronic counting and dedection units are used in the system. The units are compact, including all features within itself.
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) WİRELESS DATA TRANSFER : All data related with the traffic is transferred to the system via comminication lines approved by Turkish Telecom. Ultra uses radio MODEM, antenna and reflector and/or transmitter – if required – while installing such systems. Video images are also transmitted to the centre in the same manner, that is, wireless communication. SURVELLİANCE : Inspecting the traffic and road condition at critical spots and cash – points on highways is another facility enabled by ULTRA. Such systems are supported by foreign contractors. The hardware and software used are of international standards and approved by authorities. TUNNEL AUTOMATİON SYSTEMS : Peculiar systems which require high technology like tunnel entrance, lane selection, tunnel inside and outside lighting, tunnel inside counting can be installed by ULTRA. Such systems enable complete control at the tunnels and provide efficient warning systems at tunnel entrance.
